In Windows Vista onwards, the Recycle Bin‘s capacity is determined by the percentage of disk space allocated to it. The default setting is 10% of the partition space, but this can be changed by right-clicking on the Recycle Bin and selecting Properties. The maximum capacity of the Recycle Bin will be the amount of disk space available on the partition, up to the maximum percentage allowed.yassine on 14/06/2024
There is no size limit for Recycle Bin in Vista and later versions of Windows whereas the older versions had a maximum limit of 3.99 GB. Recycle Bin cannot store items larger than its storage capacity.Pradeep Thomas on 17/06/2024
Yes. Even though the default setting is 10% of the capacity, there is no limit and can be modified from the properties of Recycle Bin
