I noted from the course: It is mainly a logical structure error and not a physical disk error.Pradeep Thomas on 14/04/2025
Both logical structure errors and logical disk errors can lead to the creation of lost clusters on a hard drive. But as per CHFI study material "It is mainly a logical structure error and not a physical disk error. Lost clusters occur when the user does not close files properly or shuts down a computer without closing an application. These errors also occur owing to disk corruptions such as bad drivers and resource conflicts."
