Opted Answer: A
Lost clusters, indicating a logical structure error, often arise from file system corruption, which can be caused by improper shutdowns, hardware issues, or software problems, leading to the system losing track of where files are stored.

Opted Answer: A
I noted from the course: It is mainly a logical structure error and not a physical disk error.

Both logical structure errors and logical disk errors can lead to the creation of lost clusters on a hard drive. But as per CHFI study material "It is mainly a logical structure error and not a physical disk error. Lost clusters occur when the user does not close files properly or shuts down a computer without closing an application. These errors also occur owing to disk corruptions such as bad drivers and resource conflicts."
