Answer is B, Active IDS. Question asking about IDS "what type of IDS is being used?".

whereas NIPS is also correct option, but it is NIPS (Network Intrusion Prevention System).

NIPS – Network Intrusion Prevention System: Detects and actively blocks/prevents malicious traffic at the network level.
